The first week of July, beginning from National Doctors Day (July 1) is observed as Gratitude Week for paying national tribute to healthcare workers who have rendered their selfless service and even sacrificed their lives to protect others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Gratitude Week (Jul1-7) was institutionalised in the year 2020 at the time when the entire world was facing an existential danger and was looking up to the healthcare workers to protect them from the fast-spreading disease.
IHW Council, India’s premier institution for health awareness and advocacy, has been convening doctors, healthcare professionals, celebrities, influencers, media, political leaders, artists, children and general people in marathon events to highlight the nation’s gratitude to these Gods on earth. This year, IHW Council is organizing a series of high-impact public participation activities to make this movement go stronger.

Bikers from all around will unite on a remarkable journey, visiting hospitals to pay tribute to our healthcare heroes.
Prepare to be amazed as our extraordinary doctors reveal their creative side through mesmerizing performances of singing, poetry, and musical instruments.
Signature Wall installation within hospital premises, where patients and their families will leave heartfelt messages of gratitude for health workers. And, a candlelight vigil/floral tribute at hospitals to honor the lives of our fallen healthcare heroes.
