Nitiz Murdia is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Indira IVF, one of India’s largest and fastest-growing fertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART) healthcare networks. A visionary entrepreneur and embryology expert, he has played a pivotal role in transforming infertility treatment accessibility and affordability across India by combining clinical excellence, technology integration, and large-scale healthcare expansion.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, where he earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Chemistry and graduated with a silver medal for academic excellence, Murdia brings a rare combination of scientific expertise, systems thinking, and strategic business leadership to the fertility healthcare sector. Since the inception of Indira IVF, he has been deeply involved in designing scalable clinical systems, embryology labs, quality protocols, and expansion strategies that helped the organization evolve into a nationwide fertility care platform.
Under his leadership, Indira IVF has expanded across hundreds of locations in India, significantly increasing access to advanced fertility treatments in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. His core mission has been to democratize IVF care by standardizing processes, leveraging technology, and building affordable, high-quality reproductive healthcare infrastructure. He has also championed awareness initiatives such as the “Nisantanata Bharat Chhodo” campaign aimed at reducing stigma around infertility and promoting reproductive health education.
Nitiz Murdia is widely recognized for his technical expertise in IVF laboratory design, embryology systems, audit frameworks, and training methodologies. In recognition of his contributions, the Government of India appointed him as a Member of the National Assisted Reproductive Technology and Surrogacy Board under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, where he contributes to policy formulation, technology standards, and ethical governance in ART and surrogacy practices.
Beyond operational leadership, he has also been instrumental in developing training and capacity-building ecosystems through initiatives such as the Indira Fertility Academy, nurturing the next generation of fertility specialists and embryologists. His leadership approach emphasizes innovation, patient-centricity, and process excellence, helping position India as an increasingly significant global destination for fertility treatment.
