Agenda

Session I :- TRANSFORMATIVE TRENDS IN PATIENT-CENTRIC HEALTHCARE
The discussion will explore the latest advancements in patient-centric models post-pandemic, including next-generation healthcare technologies, evolving patient expectations, and innovative global practices. The discussion will include a focus on digital transformation and personalized medicine.
India enjoys an eminent position in the global pharmaceutical market – a position that has been created through a long journey. Recognizing the vast diversity and related needs of Indian population, pharmaceutical industry has realized that being adaptive is not only desirable, but is an essential pillar for supporting patient centric health ecosystem. Therefore, to further augment the growth of a comprehensive patient-centric approach, pharmaceutical companies must look beyond drug innovation to a digital revolution in how we research, manufacture, and test products. Part of being patient-centric for regulators is to ensure that they get the innovation, approval and inspection cycle going. This session will seek to highlight how patient-centric healthcare has renewed the focus on early forecasting, and how this can greatly increase the success of a drug both in the market and in treatment.
Technology has become an integral part of the healthcare ecosystem. Digital technology has greatly improved operational efficiency with respect to standards of medical care. The transformation has significantly enhanced the overall experience of both healthcare professionals and understanding the patient care regime. The use of internet allows healthcare professionals to share medical information rapidly with each other, stay on top of the cutting edge techniques and trends through data management, resulting in more efficient patient care. This session will discuss the impact of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, healthcare mobile apps and other such advancements on the patient services and transforming patient centric healthcare delivery mechanism

To ensure the creation of treatments that maximize value at the lowest cost,
all aspects of the health care system need to align with patient needs and
references. The Modern healthcare today calls for a more patient-centered
approach and this increasing focus on patient-centricity has ushered to a
paradigm shift towards patient advocacy groups that are working towards
making healthcare accessible to the patients. Further, they strive to bridge
any information asymmetry acting as a barrier for patients and families. In
today’s fast evolving clinical environment, there is a need to form deeper
collaborations within the industry, with advocacy groups, clinicians, and
health plans—and leverage lessons learned from other industries that excel
at customer-centricity. This session will highlight how government and
non-government stakeholders are realizing the importance of patient
participation and attempting to change current beliefs and behaviors
across their organizations

Patient advocacy groups improve the overall quality of healthcare system in India by supporting the patients in fighting for their rights, welfare and safety. They help in Communication and collaboration with patient and their families, Support healthcare research and Communication and collaboration with government agencies. They play an important role as advisors to the patient/patient’s caregiver and help them understand about the disease the patient has and the alternative therapies available. To work with finance boards, analyze cost constraints and act as a proponent for best practices, patient advocate groups/individuals provide the right information regarding treatment to patients and families, and hence enable more compliance. This panel will underline the essentiality of advocacy groups and their imperative need in the current healthcare system.
