Abhijeet Sinha is a distinguished technocrat, policy entrepreneur, and strategic leader driving innovation at the intersection of technology, governance, and economic transformation in India. He currently serves as National Program Director – Ease of Doing Business, where he leads India’s premier emerging technology piloting agency focused on advancing micro-level tech economies across states and sectors in alignment with the macro techno-economic vision under the Government of India. In this capacity, he also holds the role of **Project Director for flagship initiatives such as DIISHA (Digital Innovations & Interventions for Sustainable HealthTech Action), National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV), Drone Pilot, and Swachh Bharat Mission – Cleantech, implementing evidence-based pilots that accelerate adoption of emerging technologies for economic and social impact.

Before his current leadership tenure, Dr. Sinha began his career in corporate banking and later transitioned into governance and policy roles. He was part of the ‘Citizen for Accountable Governance (CAG)’ team during the 2014 parliamentary elections for the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, and has actively contributed to subsequent national campaigns, including #MaiBhiChowkidar (2019) and the Viksit Bharat vision.

Known as a thought leader and facilitator of public-private collaboration, Dr. Sinha has also served as Country Director (India & UAE) for Advance Services for Social & Administrative Reforms (ASSAR), Principal Adviser to the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and holds advisory roles with industry bodies such as the Steel Users Federation of India and the India Think Council. He leads development of innovative financing and infrastructure frameworks—including the Annuity Hybrid E-Mobility (AHEM) and Digital Health Annuity Model (DHAM)—that blend public funds with private capital to stimulate green and technology-led economic growth.
