Gratitude Week
1st – 7th July 2026
The first week of July, beginning from National Doctors Day (July 1) is observed as Gratitude Week for paying national tribute to healthcare workers who have rendered their selfless service and even sacrificed their lives to protect others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Gratitude Week (July, 1-7) was institutionalised in the year 2026 at the time when the entire world was facing an existential danger and was looking up to the healthcare workers to protect them from the fast-spreading disease.
IHW Council, in association with Paras Health, proudly presents Gratitude Week 2026—a nationwide movement dedicated to celebrating the compassion, commitment, and selfless service of our doctors.
Through a series of meaningful public participation activities, we invite people across India to come together and express one heartfelt message to the heroes who heal us every day—
