Abhishek’s academic background includes an undergraduate degree in finance and human resources from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, followed by a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, one of the world’s top business schools, where he deepened his expertise in strategy and organizational leadership. Early in his career, he gained strong professional grounding with strategic and consulting roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, American Appraisal Associates, and Deloitte, experiences that equipped him with sharp analytical capabilities and a strategic mindset geared toward transforming healthcare delivery.

Before returning to India’s healthcare sector, Abhishek also worked with DaVita, the largest kidney dialysis services provider in the United States, where he contributed to operational and strategic efforts—a period that helped solidify his commitment to leveraging systems-level thinking in healthcare operations.

Since taking on the CEO role, he has been central to Regency Health’s ambitious expansion strategy, including the launch of a 250-bed world-class super-specialty hospital in Gorakhpur and a multi-phase plan—backed by significant institutional investment—to grow capacity to several thousand beds across key cities such as Kanpur, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Under his leadership, Regency is integrating advanced specialties such as cardiology, oncology, nephrology, and critical care within a cohesive network designed to meet both routine and complex clinical needs locally, reducing the need for patients to travel to distant metros for high-quality treatment.
