It has been three decades since V Care Foundation began its work in the field of cancer care. Started by a cancer survivor, Mrs. Vandana Gupta, after her own cancer treatment. V Care believes in empowering cancer patients with care from chaos to control. Our organization was founded on the principle of providing emotional assistance. Patients are supported by V Care both during active treatment and afterward through a variety of patient interventions. In the last FY, we have been able to support more than 318,872 (in lakhs) patients under our different patient care programs.

Vandana is on the ethics committee for Breach Candy Hospital and the Indian Cancer Society. She has played a key role in bringing global exposure and represents V Care through affiliations with the American Cancer Society, the International Kidney Cancer Coalition, the Lymphoma Coalition, and UICC. She is on the Board of SPAEN (Sarcoma Patients EuroNet).

In cancer care, the most passionate thing is that you get to know so many strong people who are holding on to each other while sailing the same boat so that they can help and cling to each other when they feel they are drowning. That feeling pushes one to do so much more for them and work along with them to cater to their needs.
