Dr. Anil Sukhdevrao Bonde is a physician-turned-public leader and parliamentarian who currently serves as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha representing the state of Maharashtra. Trained as a medical doctor, Dr. Bonde earned his MBBS and MD in Medicine from the Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur. Before entering public life, he established himself as a practicing physician and healthcare entrepreneur, founding and managing a multi-specialty hospital and research centre in Amravati, Maharashtra. His medical background has continued to inform his policy perspective, particularly in areas related to healthcare access, preventive medicine, and public health infrastructure.

Dr. Bonde’s political career spans both state and national governance. He served two terms as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Morshi constituency from 2009 to 2019, initially as an independent candidate and later with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
