Dr. Chandran Vinoth Kumar is a distinguished healthcare supply chain expert, academician, and sustainability advocate who currently serves as Head – Supply Chain Management at Tata Trusts, one of India’s most respected philanthropic institutions. With more than two decades of experience across healthcare systems, public health programs, and institutional supply chains, he has been at the forefront of building resilient, efficient, and patient-centric supply chain ecosystems that support large-scale healthcare delivery and social impact initiatives across India.

Dr. Kumar’s professional journey reflects a unique blend of academic excellence, operational leadership, and research-driven innovation. In his current role, he leads strategic supply chain initiatives that strengthen healthcare delivery systems and improve access to critical medical resources through structured procurement, logistics optimization, and sustainability-driven supply chain models. Academically, Dr. Kumar holds a doctorate and postgraduate degree in hospital management from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, along with a postgraduate qualification in business management from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He has also pursued advanced academic and professional training in Medical Law & Ethics from the National Law School of India University, Health Technology Assessment from AIIMS, and Lean Six Sigma in Healthcare from IIHMR University, in addition to specialized training in disaster management from the National Institute of Disaster Management, New Delhi.
