Dr. Divleen Jeji is a physician-turned-healthcare innovation leader and serves as India Lead – Google Health, where she spearheads strategic efforts to advance the adoption of AI and digital technologies to improve health outcomes in real-world clinical settings across India. With a unique blend of clinical insight, business strategy, and product experience, she has become a key voice at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and digital transformation.
Trained initially as a medical doctor (MBBS) at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, Dr. Jeji further augmented her clinical foundation with an MBA from Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development and specialized studies in healthcare management at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad—credentials that have enabled her to navigate both patient care and enterprise-level strategic decision-making in complex healthcare ecosystems.
Before joining Google, she accumulated extensive experience across sectors, including healthcare consulting with KPMG, digital health platforms, and technology ventures, where she worked on product design, go-to-market strategies, and scaling healthcare solutions. At Google, she initially contributed as a program and strategy lead before taking on the India leadership role for Google Health, focusing on deploying AI-based diagnostic and clinical support tools into healthcare workflows to support providers and patients alike.
Under her stewardship, Google Health in India has engaged with clinicians, health systems, and policymakers to explore responsible and scalable applications of machine learning and AI in early disease detection, decision support, and public health initiatives. Her work extends beyond technology implementation to emphasizing ethical, equitable, and locally relevant approaches that resonate with clinicians and communities, reflecting a deep commitment to making technology meaningful in diverse healthcare contexts.
Dr. Jeji’s influence also spans global health innovation platforms—she has been appointed as co-chair of the judging panel for initiatives like the Trinity Challenge on Antimicrobial Resistance, bringing thought leadership and strategic evaluation to global problems that require data-driven solutions.
