Dr. Divya Aggarwal is a distinguished academician, researcher, and management educator currently serving as Associate Dean – Training & Capacity Building and Associate Professor at the International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Delhi. With over 18 years of experience spanning academia, research, executive education, and healthcare management, she has established herself as a leading expert in organizational behavior, human resource management, health systems strengthening, and institutional capacity building.

At IIHMR Delhi, Dr. Aggarwal has played a pivotal role in strengthening academic excellence and institutional development. Over her long association with the institute, she has held several key leadership positions, including Associate Dean – Academics & Student Affairs, Associate Dean – Admissions & Accreditations, and Assistant Dean – Research, before assuming her current role. She successfully led IIHMR Delhi through its first NAAC accreditation, securing an ‘A’ Grade, reflecting her commitment to quality assurance, academic governance, and institutional excellence.

Dr. Aggarwal holds a Ph.D. in Management from Amity University, Noida, and an MBA in Human Resource Management and Finance from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Her academic and research interests encompass healthcare human resource management, organizational behavior, leadership development, strategic management, public health systems, and healthcare capacity building. Through her teaching, research, and executive education initiatives, she has trained more than 700 healthcare professionals, government officials, and senior administrators across India.

She has successfully led and contributed to numerous nationally significant research and consultancy projects funded by organizations such as UNICEF, focusing on workforce planning, workload assessment of Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs), organizational strategy, public health financial management, and health systems strengthening. Her expertise has also supported capacity-building programmes for the National Health Mission (NHM), National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), and other government institutions through specialized training in organizational behavior, leadership, conflict management, and healthcare administration.

An accomplished researcher and thought leader, Dr. Aggarwal has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in healthcare management, talent management, organizational behavior, and One Health approaches. Her work has earned several prestigious recognitions, including the Wegrow India Best Research Excellence Award (2024) and AICTE-sponsored faculty development initiatives. She also serves as President of the Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences Alumni Society (University of Delhi), reflecting her continued engagement with academic leadership and professional development.
