Dr. Indu Aggarwal is a distinguished physician and public-health champion serving as the Head of Department — Preventive Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) in New Delhi, one of Asia’s premier cancer care and research institutions. With a career that spans clinical medicine, community engagement and cancer prevention advocacy, she leads the department responsible for designing and implementing impactful prevention, screening and early detection strategies aimed at reducing the burden of cancer in diverse populations.

Dr. Aggarwal graduated with her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi in 1986, followed by a Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (DGO) in 1990 and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospital & Health-care Management (PGDHHM) from IGNOU, enabling a holistic approach that bridges clinical practice with community health management.
