Ms. Ishi Khosla is a practicing clinical nutritionist, columnist, author, entrepreneur, public health expert, and & welfare worker. She is actively involved in Clinical Practice at the Centre For Dietary Counseling in Delhi, where she deals with a wide range of nutrition-related health problems, including obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders, food allergies, etc. To reach out to a global audience, Ms. Khosla is launching Welmo, a free personalized AI-based meal-planning app that helps people resolve common health problems through food, recipes, and nutritional advice. Welmo will be launched shortly. Passionate about nutrition and a strong believer in the power of foods, she founded the first of its kind health food company in India, ‘Whole Foods.’ The company was acquired by one of the largest food businesses in India in the year 2018. As part of her commitment to public health and community nutrition, Ms. Khosla founded ‘The Celiac Society Of India,’ the first-of-its-kind public health forum to spread awareness about gluten-related disorders in India. She is a trustee of the “Food Future Foundation,” a public health institution focused on changing the food landscape & ecosystem of our country. She advises on issues ranging from the improvement of agricultural practices to dietary-related challenges. She has been an advisor to several organizations and MNCs and was also on the Board of the Governing Body of her alma mater—Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. She is frequently invited to govt and & non-govt forums to lecture on various nutrition-related subjects. She is also frequently invited to national radio and television programs for her views on nutrition and public health matters. She has been a speaker at TEDx several times. She has authored 5 books in the last 25 years and & contributed articles to several publications.
