ShardaCare Healthcity has appointed Dr. Kousar Shah as the Group Chief Executive Officer, bringing his extensive expertise in business growth, operational excellence, digital transformation, and patient-first healthcare delivery. In this role, he will lead both ShardaCare Healthcity and Sharda Hospital, guiding strategic initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s integrated healthcare ecosystem and expand access to high-quality, affordable care across India.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in top healthcare institutions, Dr. Shah has consistently driven revenue growth, improved EBITDA performance, and championed operational excellence. His leadership has transformed hospitals through advanced digital systems, including eHIS implementation, paperless workflows, and the development of robust academic programs. A TEDx speaker, NLP-certified coach, and mentor to emerging leaders, he is widely recognised for his visionary approach to leadership and organisational development.

Dr. Shah has held senior leadership roles at leading healthcare systems including Max Healthcare, Fortis Healthcare, BLK Super Specialty Hospital, Columbia Asia, Artemis, Paras Healthcare, and Aakash Healthcare. A clinician who transitioned into healthcare management, he is an alumnus of GR Medical College (Gwalior), AIIMS, and BITS Pilani.
