Dr. Pankaj Talwar is one of India’s most distinguished fertility specialists, reproductive medicine experts, and clinical embryology leaders, widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). He is the Former President of the Indian Fertility Society (IFS) and currently serves as CEO of i-HOMaa Fertility Clinics & Training Academy, Gurugram and Delhi, while also holding academic leadership positions in reproductive sciences and embryology.

A decorated veteran of the Indian Armed Forces with nearly 30 years of service, Dr. Talwar has played a transformative role in advancing infertility treatment and fertility preservation in India. During his military tenure, he served as Head of IVF services at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi, where he helped establish and strengthen advanced reproductive medicine programs. His outstanding contribution to infertility care earned him the prestigious Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) conferred by the President of India.

Academically accomplished, Dr. Talwar holds MBBS and MD qualifications from AFMC Pune, along with a PhD in Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Medicine. He has undergone advanced international training in ovarian cortex freezing in Paris, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) in Germany and Spain, human embryonic stem cell derivation in Israel, and quality assurance systems in reproductive medicine.

Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 17,000 IVF cycles with consistently high success rates and has established nearly 30 ART and IVF centers in India and abroad. He is particularly renowned for his expertise in recurrent IVF failures, implantation failures, male infertility, fertility preservation, and onco-fertility programs for cancer patients.

Beyond clinical excellence, Dr. Talwar has made remarkable contributions to education and capacity building in reproductive medicine. A master trainer and mentor, he has trained over 1,700 students across more than 20 countries and founded innovative global digital learning platforms for ART education. He has authored and edited numerous books and published over 100 scientific papers in reproductive medicine and embryology.

As President and senior leader within the Indian Fertility Society, he played a pivotal role in expanding infertility awareness, strengthening academic collaborations, and promoting evidence-based reproductive healthcare across India. Through his visionary leadership, clinical innovation, and educational contributions, Dr. Pankaj Talwar continues to shape the future of fertility medicine and reproductive sciences in India and internationally.
