Dr Sharma, R.D, has more than 30 years of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics, beginning her career in Boston Hospital for women, USA, and then moving on to become the Chief of Dietetics at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. She has written 10 books on diet management, and provided technical content for a handbook for physicians, dietitians, and nurses published by the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. She has been a recipient of the several international fellowships.
