Prof. (Dr.) Surveen Ghumman Sindhu is one of India’s foremost authorities in reproductive medicine, infertility, and assisted reproductive technology (ART). She currently serves as Senior Director & Head, IVF & Reproductive Medicine Centre, MAX Group of Super Specialty Hospitals, Delhi & Gurgaon, where she leads one of the country’s most advanced fertility programs. With over 35 years of clinical, academic, and research experience, she is internationally recognized for her expertise in IVF, recurrent implantation failure, low ovarian reserve, fertility preservation, male infertility, and reproductive endocrinology.

Dr. Ghumman completed her MBBS at Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, followed by an MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Government Medical College, Amritsar. She further specialized in clinical embryology and assisted reproductive technology (ART) through advanced training at Manipal University and the Cleveland Clinic, USA, and earned a fellowship in minimal access surgery from the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS). She serves as executive editor of the journal Fertility Science and Research and has held several prestigious leadership positions within the Indian Fertility Society (IFS), including treasurer, editor, and co-chair of national guideline development groups. She has also co-chaired the IFS Guidelines on Poor Ovarian Response and the IFS Consensus Statement on Psychosocial Care in ART, contributing significantly to evidence-based fertility practice in India.
