Appointed to the position in July 2023, Gagandeep Singh Bedi also serves on the Board of Boehringer Ingelheim India, bringing with him more than two decades of experience across multinational pharmaceutical companies and emerging healthcare markets. His leadership is focused on building a patient-centric culture, fostering innovation in therapeutic solutions, and addressing the evolving healthcare needs of India’s population, particularly in areas such as chronic and non-communicable diseases.

Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Bedi served as Managing Director for India and Cluster Head for Africa at AstraZeneca, where he played a key role in strengthening the company’s commercial strategy, expanding market presence, and driving growth across multiple therapeutic segments. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in corporate strategy, market development, and healthcare ecosystem engagement, having worked extensively across India and other international markets.

Beginning his career in pharmaceutical sales and steadily advancing into senior leadership roles, Bedi has built a reputation for combining strategic insight with a strong commitment to patient benefit and healthcare innovation.
