Dr. Gaurav Tripathi is a visionary technology leader and co-founder & group chief technology officer (CTO) of Innoplexus AG, a globally recognized AI-driven life sciences and drug-discovery platform that empowers pharmaceutical and biotech organizations with advanced data-intelligence solutions. As a founding executive board member, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s innovation roadmap and leading the development of breakthrough technologies that accelerate research, improve decision-making, and transform how insights are generated across preclinical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial stages of drug development.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Gaurav’s entrepreneurial journey began early—founding his first technology company at the age of 19—and has since evolved into more than 18 years of expert leadership spanning startups and high-impact technology ventures in areas such as big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), natural language processing, and computer vision.

At Innoplexus, he leads a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and innovators to build proprietary IP, contributing to an intellectual property portfolio of over 145 patents (US/EU) in AI and related technologies—more than 45 of which list him as an inventor—underscoring his role as a core architect of the company’s technological edge.

Under his strategic technical leadership, Innoplexus has been recognized as a “German AI Champion in Life Sciences,” collaborating with the top 30 global pharmaceutical companies and advancing capabilities that help accelerate therapy development and improve patient outcomes. Beyond his executive role, Gaurav also serves on the board of Amrit AG and contributes to broader innovation ecosystems through mentorship and community building in AI technology across India.
