Gautam Khanna is the Chief Executive Officer of P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre (Hinduja Hospital), Mumbai—one of India’s leading multi-specialty tertiary-care institutions. With an engineering degree from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, he brings a strong blend of technical acumen and business leadership to the healthcare sector.

Before joining Hinduja, Khanna spent more than two decades at 3M—rising to Executive Director and Country Business Leader for the South Asia healthcare business, where he led operations across India and Sri Lanka. Under his leadership at Hinduja, he has overseen expansion in clinical services, institutional innovation, and the introduction of patient-focused care models, while also playing a key role in strengthening medical education and nursing training via the hospital’s college of nursing.

Beyond hospital operations, Khanna is deeply involved in shaping healthcare policy and industry standards. He sits on the board of the NATHEALTH Foundation and serves on the APEX Steering Committee of the Quality Council of India for Accreditation++. He is president of the Association of Hospitals, Mumbai (AOH-Mumbai), and has held leadership roles such as chair of the FICCI Health Services Committee and the FICCI Medical Device Forum.

Throughout his tenure, Khanna’s leadership has been recognized widely.
