Educated in electronics engineering and holding an MBA in marketing, Mr. Gupta combines technical understanding with sharp commercial acumen, enabling him to lead cross-functional teams effectively and align organizational strategy with market needs. Prior to joining FUJIFILM Sonosite, he held leadership roles at global healthcare companies, including GE Healthcare, where he sharpened his skills in business development, strategic planning, and operational excellence—experiences that inform his approach to scaling innovative diagnostic technologies across South Asia.

At the helm of FUJIFILM Sonosite’s India & South Asia operations, Mr. Gupta has been central to expanding the company’s footprint and impact in the region, advocating the value of point-of-care ultrasound as a vital tool for clinicians in both routine and critical care settings. Under his stewardship, the company has emphasized not only commercial performance but also educational outreach, collaborating with medical societies and training programs to equip thousands of clinicians with the skills needed to leverage ultrasound technology effectively at the bedside.
