Born and raised in India, he went to the US for college and spent the majority of his professional career in the US before returning to India about two years back. For the last two years, he has led AstraZeneca’s Oncology Business Unit in India, delivering strong growth for the business unit and energizing the organization with a growth mind-set, anchored to a relentless focus on serving patients and customers. Committed to building and enabling high-performing teams, he has been able to foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration and execution excellence. Previously, Praveen held roles of increasing responsibility across AstraZeneca’s US and global organizations, contributing to the success of several of AstraZeneca’s innovative medicines across the globe. Praveen’s academic background includes an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health.
