I am a specialist health writer with a background in microbiology and health communications, who has worked for national dailies, magazines and journals and undertaken documentation activities for numerous international development organisations and UN agencies. I report on public health issues and trends for Outlook magazine, Hindu Business Line, The Hindu Metro, Deccan Herald and Harper’s Bazaar. I have done reports and newsletters for a range of organisations such as UNICEF, Global Health Strategies and Population Foundation of India and also created content for public relations and advocacy groups.
