Subroto Gupta is a seasoned business strategist and innovation leader who currently serves as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at Compass Group India, part of the global food and support services leader Compass Group plc. With more than two and a half decades of global leadership experience across strategy, marketing, operations, and digital innovation, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s long-term growth agenda and transformation roadmap in India’s rapidly evolving managed services and institutional food services sector.

In his current role, Subroto spearheads enterprise strategy, identifies and commercializes new business opportunities, and leads strategic initiatives around sustainability, innovation, and mergers and acquisitions. His work focuses on building future-ready business models by integrating technology, design thinking, and operational excellence to enhance customer experiences and unlock new avenues of growth for the organization.

Prior to joining Compass Group India, he held several leadership positions at Jubilant FoodWorks, where he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Innovation & Business Excellence, driving transformation and innovation programs for global food brands across South Asia. Earlier in his career, he spent many years at Genpact in a variety of senior leadership roles focused on digital transformation, enterprise collaboration, and strategic growth initiatives.
