Health and Healthcare have once again become imperative and a priority sector for all governments.
The Indian government is at the forefront of implementing and executing a robust universal healthcare ecosystem and many health, nutrition and social welfare schemes and initiatives for women, infants, adolescents, and elderly in line with the UN global holistic approach to Sustainable Development Goals have been implemented.
The healthcare ecosystem in India surely needs new innovation and technological advancement and a robust delivery mechanism to achieve its sustainable healthcare goals. With the current COVID pandemic recovery plans and challenges of existing healthcare mechanism, it’s time to look forward in terms of how the healthcare needs of common citizens will be met. The need of the hour is to ensure patient-centric policies so that holistic health can be achieved through an integrated approach while keeping healthcare affordable and accessible for all, in keeping with the vision of the government.
About IHW Summit and Awards
