Overview
In prosperous societies, the significance of health and well-being cannot be overstated. A robust healthcare system and a focus on holistic well-being are foundational to sustaining societal progress and prosperity.
The development and growth of a country are deeply intertwined with the quality of its healthcare system. The Indian government has taken proactive measures to establish a comprehensive universal health coverage framework, including initiatives like Ayushman Bharat, the National Digital Health Mission, and Rashtriya Poshan Maah. These endeavors are aligned with Sustainable Development Goals, underscoring India’s commitment to advancing human health and overall progress.
In keeping with the vision of the government and to accelerate the stride towards realizing Sustainable Development Goals, the IHW Council works around the core philosophy of “High Five of “Health”—encompassing Good Air, Good Water, Good Food, Good Lifestyle, and Good Healthcare. These five aspects emerge as a guiding principle for fostering comprehensive wellness within communities. These pillars form the bedrock of discussions and initiatives aimed at enhancing access, availability, and affordability of fundamental elements crucial for individual and communal well-being.
The IHW Council, through its endeavors, seeks to raise awareness about the significance of holistic health and the interconnected nature of various factors influencing well-being. By fostering a deeper understanding of health dynamics, empowering individuals and communities to make informed choices for their health, and building a legacy of wellness and vitality that transcends boundaries and enriches lives across generations.
The IHW Summit is the flagship event of the IHW Council and is dedicated to advancing holistic health and wellbeing across India. At its core, the Summit embodies the belief that a healthy populace is essential for the growth of the nation, and it serves as a testament to the Council’s unwavering commitment to cultivating a comprehensive health ecosystem through innovative strategies and collaborative engagements.
